Today was my first time ever zip lining and it was exciting! I loved it! My wife wanted to give us both a treat so booked for us both and we drove for 3 hours all the way from Houston just you be here. Our tour guides Heather and Charlotte were super amazing and fun to have around. We zipped in five different lines and I beat my wife on the last Double Barrel line. The hiking part was a good workout.
Lake Travis Zipline Adventures was awesome! My boyfriend and I went last Saturday and had our first experience zip lining. Thanks to the highly qualified tour guides and kind staff it was wonderful. They were caring, friendly, and professional. Our tour guides Nate and Neal were super fun and very encouraging. They always offered us water and suggested taking breaks. They did a great job getting to know our names, and were helpful, and enthusiastic about the hike. Thank you, we look forward to visiting again!
I have been zip lining before in Mexico. The lines here are much higher, faster, and longer. This is a must on an Austin vacation. It's well worth the cost in my opinion. The experience and views are amazing over Lake Travis. There is even a private dock to go swimming after your adventure and can stay until they close. Shaded picnic tables and comfortable chairs overlook the lake. So pack a cooler and extend your stay. We zipped with Neil and Tanya two professional and very fun guides. Absolutely loved the time we had and strongly recommend it to any thrill seeker.
One of the stops on our 15 year anniversary weekend was to Lake Travis Zip Line Adventures and it ended up being one of the highlights of our weekend! Jess was incredibly friendly and punctual in getting our group out to the course and Yeti provided non-stop entertainment the whole trip. I enjoyed how training was brief and to the point since the equipment was easy to use and the guides did most of the work. This allowed us to get straight to the fun. Being our first zip line tour we were both nervous prior to arriving, but were so put at ease during the event neither of us felt any apprehension about stepping of a platform into space and zipping across the water 80' high! This is definitely a great place to try out and we'll certainly be back again soon.
So much fun! I highly recommend doing this! My wife gave me a gift certificate for my birthday and I plan to do this again with some of my family soon (I was the guinea pig). TANYA was an excellent guide...her humor and energy helped make the trip special.
